Bainbridge was inspired by years of academic excellence. It was established in 1975 as the extension of many MIT Professor’s lives’ work. Founded by Professor Bolton Bainbridge Miller in 1975, as a publishing and consulting arm for his research and analysis, Bainbridge went on to be comprised of independent consultants, executives, and professors of business and economics from The Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management This included corporate attorneys, investment bankers, and management consultants who came together to provide higher value, results-oriented advisory and investment services. The intent was to focus on client results through a unique, fact-based methodology and to hire only the highest-caliber specialists in the world.

In 2008, the Zurich Insurance-owned real estate company ZKS merged its parking investment group with Bainbridge Capital to form BainbridgeZKS. An institutional real estate investment company led by some of the United States leading real estate investment managers.

By 2010, Bainbridge expanded from traditional management consulting to also include an investment banking firm and a direct private equity investments company called Bainbridge Investments. Bainbridge has since worked with the top Global Multinational Corporations, Private Equity firms, Pensions, Endowments, and Family Offices.

Orel Hershiser

Orel Hershiser currently serves as Color Analyst for the Los Angeles Dodgers sports network, Sportsnet LA. For the last 8 years he worked as an Analyst for ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball, and for 18 seasons, he pitched for Major League Baseball. In 1988 Orel won the Gold Glove, Cy Young Award, and World Series MVP with the Los Angeles Dodgers. During the 1988 season Orel pitched 59 consecutive scoreless innings; a record which he still holds today.

After retiring from Major League Baseball in 2000, Orel served as the pitching coach for the Texas Rangers and later worked in the franchise’s corporate office as their Executive Director. Orel has written two books, Out of the Blue and Between the Lines: Nine Things Baseball Taught Me About Life. Since retiring from Major League Baseball, Orel has been an invited speaker at many events and conferences.

Over the years Orel developed his real estate portfolio by acquiring multiple properties, but more recently he has focused his time and energy toward real estate investing. Orel is currently an investor and member of 55 Capital Group LLC, which manages two funds that purchase, rehab, and sell single family and multi-family homes in Southern California. To date the funds have purchased and sold over $13,200,000 in real estate.

Orel also serves as co-manager of Red Rock 55, LLC, a fund that maintains a buy and hold strategy for the purchase of single family homes, in the Las Vegas Valley. Red Rock 55 fund, has $9,500,000 in assets at present. Additionally, he and his partners have established The Hershiser Income Fund I and II which have placed over $41.200,000 in first trust deed loans in the first fifteen months of existence. Other businesses in Orel’s portfolio include co-ownership of an escrow company, and a real estate agent referral marketing company

 

Nick Chini, MBA

Nick Chini is a senior director at Bainbridge Investments with over 20 years of experience in strategy consulting and the use of competitive intelligence for strategic decision-making amongst C-level executives. He has conducted market research and strategic analysis in a variety of market sectors for the Fortune 1000, including healthcare, technology, manufacturing, and consumer products.

Mr. Chini has analyzed over 500 companies in 200 markets for strategic planning, operations, reverse engineering, technology feasibility, econometrics, product positioning, financial valuation, due diligence, and acquisition analysis assignments. He has completed over $2B in proprietary M&A deals. Nick holds his MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Bachelor of Science in Finance from Lehigh University. Nick has also completed advanced studies at Harvard Law Schools’ Program on Negotiation.

 

Brian Wedewer

Brian Wedewer has been a licensed Real Estate Agent and Broker in Nevada since 1994 and held similar titles in California from 1988 through 1995. Brian and his team of agents are in the top 1% of all Realtors in the Las Vegas area with respect to total sales volume. During his real estate career Brian has personally represented over 2,000 home buyers and sellers. Brian specializes in working with both buyers and sellers of residential real estate as well as commercial real estate opportunities. Brian is proficient in all aspects of residential sales, lending, and the escrow process.

Gentry Stambaugh

Gentry Stambaugh received his college education in Dallas, Texas where he earned a degree in Visual Communications. In 1992, Gentry relocated to Las Vegas took a position as a designer with a local advertising agency. During the next eight years the agency grew to become the third largest agency in Nevada. Gentry has experience with many aspects of hotel/resort gaming advertising and marketing including direct mail, television and radio production. Gentry has worked on over 50 local and state wide political campaigns, including the 1998 Kenny Guinn campaign for Governor of Nevada.

In order to expand his advertising portfolio, Gentry moved to Palo Alto, California in 1999. Here he worked with clientele in the technology and “dot-com” industry including NEC electronics, Brooks Shoes, PC World (the magazine), Silicon Valley Bank and the San Francisco 49ers. Throughout his tenure in the advertising industry Gentry garnered experience as a graphic designer, art director and account executive.

In 2003 Gentry returned to Las Vegas with a career change into wholesale lending. He worked as Area Sales Manager for New Century Mortgage, a national mortgage lender for six years. As the wholesale lending industry began to shrink Gentry adapted his career path and became a retail home mortgage loan officer for Wells Fargo and Met Life. Sensing additional changes in the mortgage lending industry, Gentry also worked to obtain his Nevada real estate license, and in 2009 he joined Prudential Americana Realtor on The Brian Wedewer Team in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Today Gentry serves as investor and partner in five real estate funds. The Hershiser Income Fund I and II which have placed over $41,200,000 in first trust deed loans in the first fifteen months of existence.
